I Am His
I am not the sum of striving, Not the echo of applause. I am not the weight of titles, Nor the keeper of a cause.
I am not what fear has named me, Not the silence I have known. I am not the voice that falters— I am claimed, and not alone.
I am His, the light has found me, In the hush before the dawn. I am held in love eternal, Even when my strength is gone.
I am not what shame has whispered, Not the shadow of the past. I am chosen, called, and cherished— Child of God, secure and vast.
So I walk with quiet courage, not to prove, nor to belong. For His name writes my story, And His grace becomes my song.
