Verse of the day
Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do wickedness, And from the Almighty to do wrong.
Job 34:10Under His Wings: What We Often Overlook
Sometimes, because of delay or disappointment, we become discouraged. We may even find ourselves questioning God because life hasn't unfolded the way we hoped.
Like toddlers, we focus on what we didn't receive instead of recognizing everything our Heavenly Father has already provided.
Then, in His mercy, the Holy Spirit opens our eyes.
Suddenly, we realize that the very place we have taken for granted is the place someone else has been praying for. The peace we enjoy, the safety we live in, the love that surrounds us, the hope we carry, and the relationship we have with God are treasures many people long to experience.
We often think abundance is measured by material possessions. But God's abundance is much deeper than that.
Abundance is His presence.
Abundance is His peace.
Abundance is salvation.
Abundance is the security of belonging to Him.
Abundance is knowing that we are safely held under the shadow of His wings.
Yes, we have needs. Yes, we pray for change. God knows every desire of our hearts. But today, may He remind us not to overlook the blessings we already have while waiting for the ones we have not yet received.
So today my prayer is simple:
Father, forgive my ungrateful heart. Thank You for opening my eyes to Your goodness. Thank You for protecting me, providing for me, and reminding me that true abundance is found first in You. Help me to notice those who need encouragement and to become a source of Your love and hope.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

One Life. One Heart. One Command.
When one heart responds, a community is changed.
Exodus 20
I Am His
I am not the sum of striving, Not the echo of applause. I am not the weight of titles, Nor the keeper of a cause.
I am not what fear has named me, Not the silence I have known. I am not the voice that falters— I am claimed, and not alone.
I am His, the light has found me, In the hush before the dawn. I am held in love eternal, Even when my strength is gone.
I am not what shame has whispered, Not the shadow of the past. I am chosen, called, and cherished— Child of God, secure and vast.
So I walk with quiet courage, not to prove, nor to belong. For His name writes my story, And His grace becomes my song.
